Hi, I'm new at this and have recently come to see that I no longer learn things immediately with little effort. In this blog I hope to cover a few of my favorite things; Music, art, common vectors and not so common diseases. There will be links to let the reader bypass items of less interest for him/her.I say this here because I'm still not sure how easy the pages are to form.
I hope you will like what you find or at least be overwhelmed by beauty or the desire for caution in some environments. Where possible I will show images of work done by some of my favorite contemporary artists. When this is not possible I will include links to their sites or pages. Music for the most part is for sale but some is available only non-commercially, some is available through an alternate site. I will make every effort to take you directly to the music you showed an interest in, from there you are free to wander through a virtual cornucopia of choices or go about your business. I am very interested in diseases spread by unavoidable vectors. For me this can be said to be arthropods. Fleas ticks and most importantly mosquitoes. I know that a fair number of people share my interest and those that don't tend to be creeped-out. That is why there will always be a way to bypass that content.
For the time being I'll be flying by the seat of my pants. Please be patient, I promise it will only get better.
I'm currently living in New York City and getting a sense of what hunger is all about. I'm not sure this will improve my own work, but I have found that it's somehow motivational. That's one of the great things about this city, you leave your house and there is so much to see and do that for surprising lengths of time one can indeed forget what's bothersome in life.
